2018 Casey Jacobsen Girls Basketball Camp

2x All-American Casey Jacobsen

Casey Jacobsen and Branch West Basketball are excited to be partnering this July 30-August 3 to offer the 2018 Casey Jacobsen Girls Basketball Camp in Newport Beach, CA.

For Jacobsen, the father of three girls, growing the women's game is a cause close to his heart, and since retiring from professional basketball in 2014, the Orange County resident has been doing just that.

Jacobsen starred at Glendora High School in the late 90's, earning a McDonald's All-American nod before moving on to Stanford. In 3 years under Hall of Fame coach Mike Montgomery, Jacobsen asserted himself as one of college basketball's most dangerous scorers, earning back-to-back all-American honors following his sophomore and junior seasons. He was a first round draft choice of the Phoenix Suns in 2002 and enjoyed a 12-year professional career domestically and abroad that included five German League Championships, two German League Finals MVPs, and saw his #23 jersey retired by the Brose Baskets.

When not coaching, Jacobsen operates a business out of Orange County and serves as a college basketball analyst for Fox Sports.

Established in 1984, Branch West Basketball has been a staple of Orange County hoops for more than three decades. Others have have joined the coaching ranks, like Kamran Sufi (Washington Wizards), Adam Jacobsen (Hawaii), Gregg Gottlieb (Oregon State), Doug Gottlieb (Team USA Maccabiah), and Jabari Trotter (Dartmouth), in addition to the aforementioned Walton (LA Lakers) and Simon (LA Lakers).

By emphasizing fundamentals, executing on both sides of the floor and playing unselfishly, we take pride in producing athletes who play basketball the right way.
