Starting power forward
Branch West Team Reebok
Summer 2004

Bob Gottlieb got him a Full Basketball Scholarship to
Howard County Community College
Big Springs, TX

Avg. 16 ppg, 10 rpg

At Howard County, he is able to keep his Pell Grant money
on top of the scholarship which not many Junior Colleges allow

Though he looks kinda mean in this picture
he is one of the nicest and most appreciative young men
that Bob Gotlieb has had the pleasure of coaching

Joey Ellis

6'3"
Crespi H.S.
Encino, CA

Walk on at UCLA

Not only has made the team
but has gotten in to several games as a Freshman

GPA 4.0     SAT 1300

His improvement through working under Bob Gottlieb at our Sunday
Branch West Basketball Acedmy workouts was nothing short of phenomenal

The additional experienced he gained while playing with
Branch West Travel Teams last Spring and Summer
helped prepair him to not only make the team
but become a favorite of Head Coach Ben Howland

Joey is a very special young man and we are very proud of him here at Branch West.
