| Ernie Kusnyer played for Bob Gottlieb at Kansas State and was an outstanding starting forward on two
Big 8 Championship teams. Lonnie Kruger, new Head Coach at UNLV also started on those wonderful
teams. The late Jack Hartman was the Head Coach. Ernie has coached a great deal of AAU ball in the
Pittsburg area where he has resided for the last twenty years. |

| Ray Townsend has coached for over thirty years and is presently the Assistant Coach at Bellarmine Prep in San Jose . His son Kurtis Townsend is one of the best recruiters in college basketball. Kutis was the assistant at USC and recruited the Stewarts and this past year did a great recruiting job for Perry Clark at Miami signing one of the best two big men in the West from Seattle for Miami . Ray's other son, Raymond Jr. was MVP of the NCAA Tournament and led UCLA to the National Championship and was a first round draft choice in the NBA and played for a number of years. |

| Ray Hooper is the son of Ray Hooper SR. His dad was on the athletic Board at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee that hired Bob Gottlieb to be the Head Coach at UWM in 1975 for where he served for 5 years. His dad was also one of my closest friends and biggest supporters at UWM. In later years, his family also moved to the West Coast and “Soup” as his dad nicknamed him, became an outstanding high school player. He played for Bob Gottlieb at the AAU level and then earned a scholarship to Cal State Fullerton. He is presently the Assistant Basketball Coach at LA Jordan H.S. in Los Angeles. |
