Great point guard - Defensive stopper

Tyler is a tough hard nosed point guard/combo guard who led Wheatridge H.S. to the State Championship semifinals a year ago. Tyler averaged 15 pgg and 7 assists, 3 steals and should be considered an absolute defensive stopper. He is extremely strong and physical and takes great pride in containing the other teams' best player. He is also a first rate 3-point shooter and a solid ball handler who sees the court and gets the ball to the right guy at the right time. Tyler attended Colorado State this past year and tried to walk. Unfortunately he did not make the team, but that should not detract that he is a hell of a player at some level somewhat below that of CO state. He was a 2.9 GPA student in H. S. with an ACT of 22. He is presently carrying a B average at CO State and will have 4 years of eligibility remaining.

Point Guard

Avi has matured into an outstanding, athletic, true point guard who can not only run a team but also score both from the perimeter and on slashes to the hole. Avi has a 3.2 gpa with a 1100 SAT score.   Avi is getting significant interest from Rice, Holy Cross, Colgate, Northern Arizona and the Air Force.  Avi had a tremendous senior year, averaging 20 ppg with 7 apg shooting 45% from 3 point range. He is not only much improved, but he has grown and is very close to a full 6'3" and become highly athletic. He may well become recruited at the mid and perhaps even hi-major level.  Avi comes out of Torrey Pines H.S., coached by former Loyola Marymount Head Coach John Olive.  Avi is ready to step in as a freshman and be a four year starter as a well rounded scoring point guard.  He also is a first rate defender and will rebound effectively on the defensive boards from the point guard position.

Point Guard

Drew has matured into a quality scoring point guard. Last season, he led Loara to an outstanding year, and Drew was chosen All League, averaging 15 ppg and 7 assists. Drew is strong and deceptively fast. He has a soft feathery touch on his jumper and he sees the court and passes particularly well off penetration. Drew should be looked at hard by all D2, NAIA and NCAA D3 programs. Drew has a 4.0 GPA.

Combo Guard

Kevin is the epitome of soundness and smartness on the basketball floor. He is a coach’s dream in terms of being fundamentally sound, consistently playing within himself and running a team and choosing his shots with the maturity that belies his age. He has excellent toughness. He is also a very fine perimeter shooter and very solid playmaker and defender. He is a 3.5 student as well. He is being extremely highly requited at the highest levels of NCAA D3 teams in the country. At this point he is seriously considering the University of Rochester, Colorado College, Louis and Clark and Chapman University.
