Brett is a scorer both inside
and out. He is a superb 3 point shooter who in 1 summer
AAU game last July at the adidas big time tournament
in Las Vegas had 7 three pointers in the 4th quarter.
He also is an excellent scorer in the low post with
his back to the basket. He has a 3.8 gpa, and a 22 ACT
score. He will have an official visit at Colgate the
weekend of April 12th. He is a superb low major combo

Outstanding
student with a 3.86 gpa
Alex is an extremely athletic
and long youngster with an excellent upside. He has
excellent shot blocking and rebounding instincts. He
runs and jumps exceptionally well. He most likely is
not ready to start as a Freshman, but a year or 2 down
the road he is without question a starting caliber center
at the low major D1 college level. He is a 3.86 GPA
student with an ACT 26 score. He averaged 12 ppg, 10
rebounds and 4 blocks per game. |

Excellent
Center and Baseball Pitcher
Kinzey is a big strong physical
center who averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game
on a well balanced Lathrop H.S. team. He has above average
offensive skills and has an excellent upside. He will
be playing in both Las Vegas Easter tournaments, for
BWBA Orange Seniors April 17-20th and Bartlett H.S.
of Anchorage, AK in the Pump Tournament April 25-27.
He is also an outstanding baseball pitcher and ideally
would like to play both in college. He has a 3.0 GPA
and SAT 1010. |

First
class defensive rebounder Todd
is a first class defensive rebounder with very good
hands, timing, and toughness. He also is an extremely
fine perimeter shooter with excellent range. Todd has
been working very diligently with Marv Marinovich and
has become a very athletic combo forward who can
play both inside and out. He is a first rate perimeter
shooter with excellent range and a very good ball handler
in transition. Todd has a 3.58 gpa with a 1000
SAT score. He was chosen top 20 at the first West
Coast All Star Camp run by the Pump brothers.
Todd is an excellent low major D1 prospect. |

Great
Shooter Coming
off a spectacular Senior season at Luguna Beach H.S.
Kyle averaged 25ppg including a season high of 38. Kyle
is an outstanding shooter with quality range also rebounds
and handles the ball well and has made great strides
in improving his overall strength and athleticism with
concentrated work with Marv Marinovich, the outstanding
personal trainer.
Being Heavily pursued by Colgate.
Kyle has a 3.7 gpa and SAT 1120
and is an outstanding prospect for the ivy league, Patriot
League, Big Sky conference, as well as selected mid
majors that need an outstanding big wing that need a
shooter, like a William and Mary. shooter.
Kyle is also considered a tough
hard nosed defender and rebounder as well as a very
good all around player.
Had tremendous games as a Jr. against perennial national
and inner city Los Angeles powers Crenshaw High
school and Inglewood H.S. . Kyle lit each up with
21 points most all from 3 point range.
Parents moved to Laguna Beach
necessitating transfer of schools for his Senior year.
Should be one of the top 5 players in Orange County
(3 man) as a senior.

Shawn is a tremendous shooter
with excellent range. He had a terrific year for a very
fine Peninsula H.S. team where he was used mostly as
a major perimeter scorer, and sometimes ran the point.
He is a talented, totally committed young man, who has
a scorers mentality. He can slash and take it to the
basket, effectively, although primarily he is a perimeter
shooter. Great kid. |

Plays for his dad,
the well respected A.D. Burtschi, who has been
the Head Coach at Putnam City for the last 20
years. Putnam City has won the Oklahoma large
schools state championship three of the last 4
years and they are ranked #1 this year as well.
Jacob plays like a coaches son. he is not only
talented, but is an extremely smart, sound complete
and well rounded perimeter wing who averages 18
ppg shooting 68% FG, 45% 3pt fg, with 9rebs and
5 assists/game as well. Not only that, but he
carries a 4.0 gpa. Colgate, Boston University
and Montana State Billings have shown the most
interest so far.

low post scorer who is a very fine step
out 3 point shooter with very good range.
He has excellent hands, rebounds well and
runs the floor with good speed. He definitely
will be well recruited at the NCAA D2 level
and has a gpa 3.0/SAT 880.

Great
Scoring Wing
Drew
is a major shooter/scorer. He is the son of Chuck Terry,
the former L.B. State stand out who had an excellent
career in the NBA. Drew is a young senior, with a terrific
up side. He is a very fine perimeter shooter with excellent
range. He also will slash to the basket and knows how
to finish and knows how to draw fouls. He is an excellent
student and should be looked at by all low to mid-major
programs. |

Highly
athletic scoring big wing
Jonathan is a very athletic
wing with a great deal of natural talent. This
past year at Westlake H.S., Jonathan was chosen MVP
of his league. Jonathan has become an excellent perimeter
shooter. He has the ability to put it on the floor and
get his own shot. He has an exceptional pair of
legs and will drive and flush it with authority. In
time, he will be a go to scorer. He is a very young senior
with a tremendous upside. His dad played football at
San Diego State. Jonathan has improved greatly since
joining the BWBA development program in March and has
become an NCAA D1 small forward. Air Force has already
offered Jonathan a full scholarship. |

Combo
forward
Josh is a coach’s dream as both a player and a person. He is one of the soundest,
smartest athletes I have ever coached. He lets
the game come to him. Has good all around ability
and skills, but plays within himself. He is a
first class perimeter shooter. He can drive and
post up and is an effective finisher going to
the basket. He is a mature defender both inside
and out and a very good defensive rebounder. He
is a first class mid major D1 prospect, who is
ready to step in and play as a freshman and will
not hold a team back from getting to the NCAA
Tournament if you are good enough at the other
positions. He is a major league complimentary
or blend forward.
Josh Kramer on the other
hand is a solid mid major 3 man who unfortunately
has played mostly a #4 man who can step out and
hit threes both for Torrey Pines H.S. and BWBA
Orange. Josh needs be recruited as true 3, as
a face in the basket big wing. He has all the
tools, experience and excellent perimeter decision
making already, and needs nothing to be able step
in and be a 4 year starter in college. John Olive,
his high school coach at Torrey Pines, and the
former coach at Loyola Marymount, is one of the
best high school coaches in the country,. Between
playing for John Olive and Bob Gottlieb, a former
head coach at the NCAA D1 level with over 100
wins, at that level, and Josh Kramer's basic superb
basketball instincts and decision making, Josh
is as ready to play as any youngster I've ever
coached.
Coaches have questioned whether
or not he could guard a 3. My opinion is that
is garbage. In the 1st place he has superb footwork
and is extremely smart and sound defensively,
and with good team defense he should not have
defensive problems. Nobody guards his man on the
perimeter "on an island", so to speak.
Secondly, Josh was a very tired athlete throughout
most of the tournaments. He played approximately
40 games with his high school team and then went
to the West Coast All Star Camp and the very next
day began playing in the Full Court Press Tournament.
In between the Full Court Press Tournament and
the adidas Big Time Tournament in Vegas, his high
school team played in the UCSD team camp, so he
really never had a chance to rest or get his legs
back, until he had 2 days off after the end of
the adidas Big Time Tournament. |

also can put it on the floor and get his own jumper

Outstanding Sophomore
#Two
brother in this outstanding Schafer family of 4 boys.
Sammy is going into 7th grade and Jimmy,
5th. Luke is a rugged, physical rebounder,
and first rate defensive post player, who is as good
as there is at taking charges. He played exceedingly
well for BWBA Team Alaska this past summer and needs
to really improve his all around offensive skills to
reach his true potential. However, he is just
going into 10th grade. A lot depends on just how
much taller he will grow. His dad is 6'10"
and was on basketball scholarship at Arizona State.
He is also a straight “A” student and a very special
kind of kid.

Small
Forward Chris had an
excellent summer with BWBA Team Alaska and was liked
by most every one who saw him play. Chris is being
heavily recruited by most Big West, WCC and Big Sky
schools, especially Montana State, where his older brother
will walk on from junior college. Oklahoma State,
Arizona State, San Diego State, Utah and Stanford have
also shown major interest, but it will be interesting
to see which of those mid and hi majors actually offer. Samford,
Boise State will also offer. Chris has excellent
basketball instincts and knows how to play. He
is not a go to scorer but is an outstanding athlete,
an exceptional offensive rebounder, very good
open court player, a pretty good shooter and a stopper
defensively. He also has a 3.6 gpa and is a terrific
young man. He is the kind of player who may score
12-15 pts. in a game, but be the MVP of the game.
