Center

Ray is a committed youngster, who has working his tail off to improve his overall speed, quickness and explosiveness under the guidance of Marv Marinovich. He averaged 22 ppg and 10 rebs and 3 blocks/g. He also carries a 4.0 gpa and is being heavily recruited. He had an excellent spring for BWBA but unfortunately suffered a knee injury in June and had surgery in early August and should be good as new by October. Ray is a special young man who has NBA potential, given continued normal maturation and physical development. He has an excellent variety of moves with his back to the basket and will be a go to scorer in college. He is an above average rebounder and pretty good shot blocker. best of all, he has good physical toughness and is a first rate competitor.

Outstanding student with a 3.86 gpa

Alex is an extremely athletic and long youngster with an excellent upside. He has excellent shot blocking and rebounding instincts. He runs and jumps exceptionally well. He most likely is not ready to start as a Freshman, but a year or 2 down the road he is without question a starting caliber center at the low major D1 college level. He is a 3.86 GPA student with an ACT 26 score. He averaged 12 ppg, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks per game.

Excellent Center and Baseball Pitcher

Kinzey is a big strong physical center who averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game on a well balanced Lathrop H.S. team. He has above average offensive skills and has an excellent upside. He will be playing in both Las Vegas Easter tournaments, for BWBA Orange Seniors April 17-20th and Bartlett H.S. of Anchorage, AK in the Pump Tournament April 25-27. He is also an outstanding baseball pitcher and ideally would like to play both in college. He has a 3.0 GPA and SAT 1010.

Joey is 6’7” 225 lbs. and is one of those players who just hurts people in and around the basket. He is incredibly strong and highly physical and is a genuine banger. His rebounding and general toughness and aggressiveness around the basket, has great value. Though his all around offensive skills are just beginning, he is showing vast improvement and should be looked at by all D3, NAIA D2 programs and some select NCAA D2 programs. Solid student.

He's a big strong talented low post center who should become very highly recruited NCAA D3 player. He is potentially a go to scorer at the block and a solid defensive rebounder, lacking only increased athleticism to play at a higher level.

		Outstanding Junior Christian came out and played with BWBA Orange in the prestigious Full Court Press Fall Classic. He is an outstanding High Major prospect. He is extremely athletic and long. He is averaging 20 ppg at Wingfield H.S. playing for Coach Herman Sanders. He is a superior shot blocker, excellent defensive rebounder and good turnaround jump shooter within 8 to 10 feet of the basket. He has excellent grades in the 3.5 neighborhood and is a superior young man and was a pleasure to coach. He is planning to play with BWBA this coming spring.

Whitey is a talented low post scorer who is a very fine step out 3 point shooter with very good range. He has excellent hands, rebounds well and runs the floor with good speed. He definitely will be well recruited at the NCAA D2 level and has a gpa 3.0/SAT 880.

#Two brother in this outstanding Schafer family of 4 boys. Sammy is going into 7^th grade and Jimmy, 5^th. Luke is a rugged, physical rebounder, and first rate defensive post player, who is as good as there is at taking charges. He played exceedingly well for BWBA Team Alaska this past summer and needs to really improve his all around offensive skills to reach his true potential. However, he is just going into 10th grade. A lot depends on just how much taller he will grow. His dad is 6'10" and was on basketball scholarship at Arizona State. He is also a straight “A” student and a very special kind of kid.
