Branch West Basketball Academy is a year round personal training center in Orange County, California that has helped literally hundreds of prep players fulfill their goal of getting a college basketball scholarship. 

This is for Southern California athletes only, as it operates 12 months a year.  Players come from as far north as Camarillo and Newberry Park, from as far East as Palm Springs, and as far South as San Diego.

BWBA now has 2 locations:

The Spectrum Club (Thousand Oaks) 
Sundays 1-3

American Sports Center 
( Anaheim
Wednesdays 7-9 pm

Costs are $200 Sign Up Fee, plus $200 for 6 sessions. $500 for unlimited sessions until July 1. A One time Tryout Fee permitted at cost of $50.  If you decide to join, the Tryout Fee may be applied toward the Sign Up Fee.

 

AAU TRAVEL TEAMS

BWBA is the home of five AAU basketball teams that play in every prestigious recruiting event that is attended by hundreds of college coaches from all levels around the country. This includes the Adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas in July.   BWBA plays  in all the  tournaments certified by the NCAA, where all NCAA coaches can observe and evelauate the athletes for scholarship purposes.


BWBA ORANGE

A showcase team for BWBA and will consist of 10 of the best players from California, all of whom normally will sign D1 scholarships every year.  This past spring BWBA Orange won the prestigious Double Pump Easter Classic in Las Vegas (72 teams) and lost tn the semi finals of the Hal Pastner Easter Tournament, also played in Las Vegas.

Consists of all the players in the basketball academy who are ready to play at the all star level of high school competition supplemented by athletes from other parts of the state and USA depending on availability.  BWBA academy athletes will always be given priority on these two teams, however, you must have been a full time varsity starter in high school, this past year, to be considered.  

 

Bob Gottlieb's BWBA Recruiting Assistance Service

Assists young athletes in the marketing and promotion that are crucial in getting a college basketball scholarship. For athletes who have recently graduated, it's not too late to be recruited, especially at the NCAA Division III, NAIA and Prep Schools level. (See Seniors)

 

Directions to the Spectrum Club
Take 101 Freeway and exit Hampshire Rd. and go West  to the service road (Willow Lane) going North.  Go North approx. 1/2 mile and you will see the sign for the Spectrum Club on the left.  Its a large racquetball facility with two very nice basketball courts.
